Oxford Wakeboard & Ski Club was originally formed by a group of keen wake boarders and water skiers who shared the same passion and devotion to their sport. OWSC is a members club but we cater for and welcome all ages and abilities from beginner to professional.
At OWSC you have access to a dedicated tournament ski boat and wakeboard boat. The Wakeboard Boat is fitted with a tower and puts out a monster wake for the more experienced riders. The tournament ski boat is used for beginner riders and slalom skiers and has the added advantage of a removable training boom for beginner lessons. Both boats are equipped with Zero Off cruise control to guarantee the most accurate towing speeds and both have been converted to run on LPG (Liquid Propane Gas) so we don’t pollute the air or water!
We also have a large selection of equipment including boards, skis and wetsuits so even if you are new to the sports we can get you out on the water in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
We are affiliated to British Water Ski & Wakeboard (the National Governing Body for water skiing/wakeboarding in Great Britain) and until our new premises is approved and built we currently operate from a modest clubhouse at Queenford Lakes Watersports Centre in South Oxfordshire (OX10 7PQ). The Club is easily accessible from main roads, bus or train (call for directions).
